Yelp: Food, Delivery & Reviews App Reviews

This app will not let you down! I always use yelp. I have found some great places and have been saved from Others I am sure.

Well, the apps is very easy to use. It is self-explanatory. I wont go into details. The only issue Ive had now is it is such a shame you cant update your profile (the things like you like and such) on mobile device. You have to go on an actual computer to update your information. I dont mind it, but it is quite a hassle since I dont use computers much anymore !

I dont use Yelp as the rule to fallow but more as a restaurant listings there are way to meany fake post example I received message were people are checking in one place then 10 minutes later there checking in to another place 30 miles away and the extreme numbers of 4 and 5 star places there are only a very few places you might consider a 4 or 5 star you can count them on one hand But there are people out there thinking if they lie and say there good things about a restaurant they will get something for free let recap. You lie on a review and get something in return thats not a true review restaurants need a true review so the can make changes they dont need smoke blown up there dresses Be honest people

I refer to Yelp all the time. If we need a service for our company, or the BF and I want to eat somewhere new then Yelp is my go-to source. Its invaluable in so many situations. For example; I would never take my car to a mechanic without checking with Yelp first to get feedback from previous customers. We all know how you can end up paying a fortune for shocks or other parts that were never needed, so I check to make sure my mechanic is not one of those. If youre a savvy shopper, Yelp is your best source to find the real deals, and the best service in your neighborhood. I honestly dont leave home without it (on my phone)! The # 1 app in my opinion.

Love the Yelp app and use it often. Great to be able to find great businesses with the touch of a button.

I cant say enough good things about Yelp. The app allows me to connect with new restaurants, research doctors and local stores as well as connect with awesome people. I use the Yelp app regularly to not only check in and read/post reviews but to bookmark new places Id like to check out. The Yelp app is a regular app I use along with the main social networking apps. I love the map search tool!!

I used to use four square until someone showed me Yelp. I love it and have never gone back to four square. I look to Yelp for almost everything. As a customer I want to have the best experience possible. Be a smart Yelper and read all the reviews, check out all the pix, and look into whose writing reviews. Some people are just cranky and always have negative things to say.

Very upset that Yelp filters the reviews into a non recommended review section for three reasons. 1. Since Yelp selects out some of the reviews and labels them "non recommended." I feel Im receiving bias information from Yelp who charges the restaurants for its use of the app. 2. Although you can read those "non recommended reviews" Yelp makes it hard to locate in their app. (I didnt even know it was there until a restaurant owner pointed it out to me.) 3. When you put you review into the "non recommended" area you are not told why. Why take the time to write a review only to have it tucked away because Yelp chose to put it there. Yes, its their app but if you what to look at unfiltered reviews this is not the app to use. My husband and I travel all over the US and when we do we love to find different places to eat. We like reading all the reviews from actual people who visited the restaurant. Time to find a more honest app.

I really dislike how Yelp.com will not work on a smartphone and force you to download app.

My Yelp app froze I cant even delete it to re-install because it glitched with the automatic app update. Its been stuck for 2 days and my ocd is kicking in. I want to erase everything and restart my phone!!!

I love using Yelp! It works well, never randomly crashes and you get honest reviews and recommendations of places that you may never heard of before! The pictures are also great so you know what to expect to receive. Yelp keeps you in the loop for special events and theyre actually a lot of fun and often times even FREE! Its also handy when out of town. Where else can you learn all about local hole in the wall restaurants or boutiques that you would have missed otherwise?! Id give Yelp more than 5 stars if I could! (Yes, some reviews are hidden or deleted, but only if they break the rules or dont make sense, which most of us daily Yelpers greatly appreciate!)

I use this to find good food and stores. I have a girlfriend who is vegan ,and its hard to find places that are vegan friendly. Im not vegan lol. We found a bunch of very good restaurants and little cafes. We started to become foodies now. A must get app. Especially if you live in Los Angeles or any other big cities. Very easy to use and you get to see the restaurants menu before you go in there. Once again get this app you wont regret it. I definitely recommend it
