Yelp: Food, Delivery & Reviews App Reviews

The carnagee is the only pizza in these parts worth anything. Ive been ordering food here for 2 years. Usually on busy hungover Sundays. Delivery is prompt and everyone working there is really nice. Will keeping ordering pizza here till I die or move whatever comes next. The guy on the phone always says "my man" but really hes my man.

Wow! Well the atmosphere was cozy but the food..... R u kidding me????? The bread was cold and then when we told them it came back rubbery like it was microwaved and anything but fresh. The sauce was terrible, and the prices were above average.... Frozen Italian good from the supermarket is better! Im sorry to say this but Wow... I honestly dont know how they can stay in business. The food came out so quickly which I thought was great..... There is a reason for that.... Its not fresh ... Its leftover and terrible. Also by the way there is no pizza on the menu for kids. Save your money and go elsewhere... Not good times

Worst seafood ever. Dont look for crab legs on the buffet. Had to order crab legs separately. The crab legs were the worst thing Ive tried to eat. $70.00 and it wasnt fit to eat or take home to your dog!

This place does a fabulous job & at a really decent cost! I get a fill done for $20! So much attention to detail its great. They do not do the special tips, but if you need a great decent film this is the place to go

This app needs to be shut down. They are ruining peoples livelihood and this app makes it even easier. They take down five star reviews and leave up on star. Someone needs to stop this company.

Worthless app, now they show two ads on top and only 3 business on my iPhone 6. All the real estate space goes to ads. I am switching to Google full time now. Enough. If I do a search for some keyword for example Italian food in San Francisco then yelp will show businesses with 3 star rating with less than 200 before showing a five star business with more than 700 reviews. Why is yelp showing a 3 star business over a five star business. Now if I have to really look for a good place, I cannot just pick what shows up on first page, instead i have to go multiple pages and do my own research. It was never like this just 2 months back. It had broken recently. Finally I have stopped using yelp for their broken search.

Didnt take much effort to uncover some sketchy, manipulative, and unsettling business tactics Yelp uses to stay in business. No money in being honest, I guess. An unbiased and simple to use review site should been invented by now, right?

Forced me to download the app just to see reviews on my phone. Cant view on the website; it just pops up the App Store page. This is frustrating and not a good look.

Yelp as a review site is ok, however after a recent update it just crashes after I open it and try to search my current location for restaurants. Thats why this is getting 1 star. I take the reviews with a grain of salt and do consult other sites. Fix the app so it doesnt crash please. For informational purposes I am running the latest OS 9.3.

The worst app for ratings.Not professional at all.They should be sued by all small businesses!

Not the least bit obvious how to leave a review

After last update app crashes while loading. Tried uninstall/reinstall.

Overall the app is great but for some reason, whenever I open it, I get a new "activity" notification for a comment someone made on one of my reviews several months ago. I dont write reviews that frequently...maybe once every few months, so I dont get a lot of activity. Its annoying that I have to see that notification every time. Other than that I love it. I often use it in place of Google maps if all Im looking for is one particular place.

I dont want your app. I never did want your app and now I have your app because you decided to lock down your mobile site for iPhone users. You need to re-evaluate your life decisions. You have a lot in common with other personalities like Hitler and Mao.

I hate how Yelp makes me download this app, try using Yelp on the browser, impossible without having to automatically open the app every single time... Its frustrating

I hate that you force me to download your app in order to read reviews. What if Im limited on space?! I will delete as soon as I read the review Im looking for, and I will give low ratings each time I can.

I am somehow new in the "writing reviews" world. I dont really have much free time to sit in front of the computer and start writing about businesses Ive dealt with. I barely have time to actually go out somewhere and enjoy a meal. My kids take most of that free time, thus not complaining at all. The rest of the day I am usually at work so cant be yelping over there. Anyways, my point is, since I took the time to write some reviews, I am very disappointed with you as you decided (apparently based on some magic computer algorithm) that my reviews are not worth publishing or that my reviews are not legit or who knows the reason why. At least am not wasting my time writing these lines as I am quite sure Apple is not going to ignore this review like you do. Ive been doing some reading as I thought maybe there is something wrong on the way I am writing but I couldnt find any reason in Google, forums, etc. Some said you dont have enough reviews, some said you dont have yelp friends, well, I am not Mr. social media but I have like 8 reviews and like 4-5 friends so it cannot be that as Ive seen you have published reviews from people with only like 1-2 reviews and 0 friends... So my dear Yelp, I will really appreciate if you kindly explain to me what the deal is and how do I get my reviews published. By the way, I do not own a business, nobody gave me anything to write a review and I only write using my own experience and common sense, which is more than some other yelpers that have their lame reviews published.
