Yelp: Food, Delivery & Reviews App Reviews

The way this site is set up allows "professional" yelpers review for points. The more negative and nasty reviews = the more Yelp points given. Its a twisted system and I cannot understand how thieves and rapists are rewarded with 5 stars while good honest businesses are rewarded 1 stars with tons of "not recommended reviews" that are all 5 star reviews. This con known as Yelp is totally unbelievable.

Are all these idiots giving the Yelp app one and two stars for local businesses that they want to review?? THE RATING IS FOR THE YELP APP! The Yelp app is great. Posts are quick and easy to navigate. Just wish we could sort comments on businesses by date.

Works very well. Talk threads show messages that have been repeated and its very difficult to read a long thread.

Called for reservation. Told 30 minute wait, arrived 15 minutes later, waited 1 hour and then left. Seemed very disorganized.

Latest version (4/27) crashes every time it launches. Even after reinstalling it twice.

They make the mobile website unusable so you have to download their app. Stupid.

Whenever I try to open it, it crashed. Idk what to do. I deleted and reinstalled it but it keeps crashed.

Cant open the app, even after a reinstall.

A useful tool, when handled properly. I thought of saying that it was most useful to me since I live in a large city, but Ive often found it helpful in small towns when traveling.

Your mobile website is garbage and makes me download your stupid app and take up space on my phone. Stop making it only usable for the app form.

Larry came to my house and took my materials at my property that I paid for. I paid for his time and paid for the materials myself. I bought extra material by a fireplace and he never put it in. I paid for the materials and he came to my house in the night without my permission and took my materials. If you want an honest person and someone that is ethical Larry is not your guy.

Whenever I try to edit a post it just reverts back to the original post.

They will have your car towed if you park here and it will cost you $350 to get it back after an hour of parking in their lot

This app has come a long way in the couple of years that Ive been using it but it still has a long ways to go. I will say that using it now is easier than it ever has been but the team at Yelp can still improve. For example, I would love having notifications when Yelp Elite events are created. Ive missed events not because I wasnt available but because I didnt receive a notification. Having a feature like that would make me want to use the app more.

I dont like being forced to download an app just to read reviews. This app does a great job at that. I wish Apple would just cut them as a partner and find a different review place that wouldnt force their app among users. This company is horrible.
