I like to read bad reviews because you can tell a lot more from them than the positive ones. You can tell when some people just plain out hate everything they come in contact with by checking their profiles. But you can also tell what places honestly have bad service when it is a pattern and not just a couple of difficult people.

Watch out for:
alcoholics that like everything.
people that like everything.
locals that like places for nastolgic reasons.
people who give their own place a positive review.
and yelpers who take themselves too serious. They try to be clever and witty, but they end up writing dissertations of their self absorbed life.
